Class Description

Seva® is proud to announce our latest series of monthly Threading instructional classes!

Over the years we've taught students the art and technique of Threading from all over the country and indeed the world! You can fully participate in the class in person or online, the choice is yours:

Hands-On (Attend In Person)

Takes place at Seva's corporate training facilities just outside of Chicago.
Personalized and hands-on one-on-one instruction by our Master Threader!
All course materials and Threading tools are provided to you.
Certificate of Completion awarded.
Cost: $399 per student. Multiple student discounts available.

Virtual Hands-On (Attend Virtually)

Takes place from the convenience of your home or place of business!
Personalized and hands-on one-on-one instruction by our Master Threader!*
You will provide your own basic training materials with our guidance.
Certificate of Completion awarded.
Cost: $59 by section or $99 full class

*Through the use of our state of the art video conferencing technology, you will fully participate in the class. All you need is a computer, browser, and Internet Access. For full two-way participation, including teacher evaluation, you will also need an optional web camera.

FAQ's

Q: What is the Mission Statement of Seva-The Academy?
A: Our Mission Statement is to standardize and disseminate the Threading technique and to provide franchise and employment opportunities to individuals who possess exemplary Threading skills.

Q: Who can take your Threading classes?
A: Anyone. We do not limit our classes to those specifically in the beauty industry. However, in cases of limited space availability, we do give reservation priority to licensed beauty professionals.

Q: Can I pay at the door or just show up and pay on the day of the class?
A: All class registrations and reservations are done online via the PayPal link (you may use your credit card via PayPal) after selecting a specific class from the calendar under the Class Schedule & Registration tab to the left. We do not accept walk-in students or payment.

Q: Who teaches your Threading classes?
A: All classes are taught by Master Threaders and licensed Estheticians employed by Seva Beauty LLC.

Q: Will I receive a Certificate upon completion of the class?
A: Yes. You will receive a Certificate of Completion that has shown that you have successfully completed our course.

Q: Am I guaranteed to learn Threading by taking your class?
A: You will learn the fundamental skills of Threading, but you will only become proficient with practice. Our class is designed to teach the fundamentals and proper techniques in order to give you a solid foundation to become a great Threader. Additionally, we offer a steep discount for you to take the class again as many times as you would like in order to help you become a proficient Threader.

Q: Are there other ways to learn Threading such as by video or online?
A: Now there is! Utilizing our state of the art video conferencing technology coupled with our proprietary Beauty Destiny Protocol™ teaching methodolgy you can! All you need is a computer, browser and internet camera. For full participation a web camera is also handy.

Q: Why does your company teach Threading?
A: Our fundamental goal in teaching Threading is to standardize and disseminate the Threading technique. Currently there is a wide disparity in the skill set of those who purport to know how to perform and teach Threading. See our Mision Statement at the beginning of the FAQ section.

Q: Can you help me find a job as a Threader upon completion of the class?
A: Yes. You will have acquired the basic skills to perform Threading upon completion of the class and will have a very valuable skill set in a rapidly growing industry. Seva offers incentives and tuition reimbursement to graduates of our Academy who choose to work for us or who choose to open their own Seva franchise.

Q: Will I be able to perform Threading on clientele upon completion of the class?
A: Possibly. Threading is an acquired skill that takes practice and time to master and your skills and confidence will grow with both time and practice.

Q: How much money can I make as a professional Threader?
A: Threaders can make up to $40.00 per hour and even more including salary and tips.

Q: How long will it take to become an good Threader?
A: Once you've learned the proper foundation and techniques by taking our class, most Threaders develop a strong base set of skills with a couple months of continuous practice. Threading is an acquired skill that takes practice and time to master and your skills and confidence will grow with both time and practice. Additionally, we offer a steep discount for you to take the class again as many times as you would like in order to help you become a proficient Threader.

Q: Will I be able to utilize my Esthetician or Cosmetologist (or other) License?
A: Yes. Certain States require Threaders to be licensed, some do not. Moreover, adding Threading to your current skill set can only be beneficial.

Q: Is Threading taught in Cosmetology or other Trade schools?
A: Typically not. We are unaware of any Cosmetology schools that teach Threading or offer Threading classes.

Q: I've seen other Threading classes being offered online, what is the difference between your class and theirs?
A: You should do appropriate due diligence on any Threading or educational course before registering. Ask for the credentials of the instructor and whether they are affiiated with any retail establishments. Finally, determine what their primary motivation and mission statement is with regards to teaching Threading.

Q: Do you offer any type of tuition reimbursement?
A: Yes, Seva does offer tuition reimbursement and other incentives after six months of continuous employment with Seva or upon the awarding of a Seva franchise.

Q: Do you offer any discounts for taking the class again?
A: Yes, Seva allows you take the hands-on class as often as you'd like for the deeply discounted price of $99 per class, pending available spaces for that class. Our virtual hands-on classes are already steeply discounted and are a very convenient and affordable way to take as often as you'd like.

Q: What is the relationship between Seva® and Seva- The Academy™ with regards to your Threading classes?
A: Seva- The Academy™ is a division of Seva Beauty, LLC.
